The Three Investigators is a series of mystery fiction books, written by various authors, including Robert Arthur, William Arden, M.V Carey and Marc Brandel. Some years later, another spinoff named Three Investigators Crimebusters was published.  Jupiter Jones, Pete Crenshaw and Bob Andrews are the Three Investigators. Set in California, near Hollywood, in a fictional town named Rocky Beach. Far from being rich and affluent like the Hardy Boys or like Nancy Drew, they are relatively grounded financially.
