The Three Investigators ePub: Rocky Beach's Best

The Three Investigators is a series of mystery fiction books, written by various authors, including Robert Arthur, William Arden, M.V Carey and Marc Brandel. Some years later, another spinoff named Three Investigators Crimebusters was published. 

Jupiter Jones, Pete Crenshaw and Bob Andrews are the Three Investigators. Set in California, near Hollywood, in a fictional town named Rocky Beach. Far from being rich and affluent like the Hardy Boys or like Nancy Drew, they are relatively grounded financially. Jupiter is an orphan living with his Uncle, who owns and runs a Salvage Yard. Pete and Bob may have relatively well to do parents, but neither are they pampered. 

All three are often made to work at the salvage yard by Jupiter's aunt Mathilda for pocket money, who believes that a working boy is a good boy. Jupiter, who is rather stocky and not one to indulge in physically strenous activities willingly, is the brains of the trio. He is the major driving force behind the three, even if the athletic Pete does most of the "hard" work. Jupiter resembles Hercule Poirot in his "grey cell" work. He is also very adept at turning junk into gold. He has converted a variety of junk items into working walkie-talkies, path finder, trackers, etc. 

Bob is the most hardworking one of the trio.When the genius and the arm of Pete is cold, it is Bob's careful considering thoughts that give the solution. After suffering from an accident, Bob cannot indulge in excessive physical activities at the beginning of the series. Bob is the records and research man of the trio.

An example in the resourcefulness of preteens, The Three Investigators is one series I would recommend to every kid while growing up. It certainly added a lot of color to my childhood. Picking up "The Mystery of the Screaming Clock " in my school library was one the best decisions of my life.

I'd already uploaded the pdf versions some years back; now that I've discovered the ease with which ePubs can be read in comparison to pdfs, I've converted the originals to ePub. Enjoy!!!

    Hello. I hope you have been well.

    I was wondering if you know about Japanese light novels. If yes, I am specifically looking for this series: 心霊探偵 八雲 (Shinrei Tantei Yakumo). The first 9 volumes from the main series were translated along with four side novels. Therefore, I am looking for Volumes 10 onward along with the side novels published after 2014.

    If you do come across them, please let me know. I cannot read Japanese very well, but I was hoping to be able to machine translate it, so I can at least find out what has happened. The fan translations stopped a while ago.
